Today 8th March, 2021, SOS Children’s Villages Malawi joins the rest of the world in celebrating the International Women’s Day under the Theme: Women in Leadership at all levels: Achieving an equal future in a COVID- 19 World.
We appreciate various roles women make in the social strata, from child care work, to development work and even decision making levels in boardrooms.
Amidst the COVID-19, we have seen women becoming teachers, nutritionists and psychosocial counselors to their families.
This calls for more celebration on the various roles that women are doing in facilitating change in various cycles.
With strong women, change happens!
